Facts you need to know about Dental Insurance

There is no charge to discuss your specific situation, our agency is paid a commission if you decide to enroll through us. However, we do not pressure. We are independent agents representing many carriers in Georgia and South Carolina, your needs determine the plan/carrier.

Security Life Dental uses the Maximum Care network: http://www.securitylife.com/findadentist

If you use a Maximum Care provider, plan-paid benefits are based on a negotiated fee schedule. This means less out of pocket costs to you. If you use a non-network provider, plan-paid benefits are based on the 80th percentile of the Reasonable and Customary charges, which may result in higher out of pocket costs.

Security Life offers plans designed for the individuals/families who use:

Network providers: Advantage Network and Advantage Plus Network, with lower monthly premiums

Non-network providers: Advantage Indemnity, Advantage Plus Indemnity, higher monthly premiums

When you review the plan options pay attention to the Upgrade option. Each plan has an annual maximum benefit amount of $1,000 with major services not to exceed $500. You can upgrade to an $2,000 annual maximum benefit, with major services not to exceed $1,000.

I offer dental through several carriers but have found Security life is one of the lower monthly premiums, and definitely stands out by offering some benefits for all services from day 1.
